You can create an account in just a few minutes using the Esusu app.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- A valid email address
- A mobile phone that can receive texts or email (for verification)
- Your home address and lease details (your name must be on the lease)
Step-by-step: Create your Esusu account
1. Download the Esusu app
- Go to the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- If needed, search for “Esusu” and download the app.
2. Start your registration
- Open the app and tap “Get started” or “Create account.”
- Enter your email address and create a password.
3. Add your personal details
- Enter your first and last name as they appear on your lease or ID.
4. Enter your address
- Type in your current home address.
- The system will check if your property is already partnered with Esusu:
- If it matches a partnered property, you’ll be routed through the managed renter flow.
- If it does not match, you’ll continue as an independent renter, you can still use Esusu to build credit.
5. Verify your identity and secure your account
- Provide the requested personal information (for example, date of birth and other ID details) so we can verify your identity.
- Confirm your phone number and choose how you want to receive your verification code (text or email).
- Enter the verification code in the app to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA).
6. Finish setup
- Once your identity and MFA are confirmed, your Esusu account is created and you’ll be taken to your app home screen.
